EGG BOUND

What does egg bound mean?

It is when an animal is unable to lay its eggs. This is most commonly seen in reptiles and birds

How do i know if my pet is egg bound ?

When your pet has a history of egg-laying, they are prone to getting egg-bound. 

 What are the symptoms of Being Egg bound?

  • The animal is straining to lay eggs, but no eggs are being laid
  • Swollen abdomen
  • Weakness in the legs 
  • Lethargy  
  • The animal is not eating as usual
